AI can process large amounts of information, identify patterns, summarise material, and support analytical exploration. But qualitative analysis is more than information processing. It involves interpretation, contextual understanding, methodological decisions, and the development of meaning.
Drawing on more than 30 years of experience in qualitative methodology and her current work on AI-supported qualitative analysis, Susanne explores how researchers can collaborate with AI while retaining intellectual responsibility for the analytical process.
